We are situated 10 km outside Waterval Boven
From JHB/PTA:
Use the N4 to Nelspruit/ Mozambique. You will go past Witbank, Middleburg, Wonderfontein, Belfast and then Machadodorp. 2 km after going through the Machado Toll Plaza take the Schoemanskloof/ Lydenburg turnoff. It is also the other Alternative route to Nelspruit.
BBK Trails is situated 2 km up this road on your right hand side.

Malaria and Temperatures
We are situated outside the malaria area, so no tablets are necessary. But there are a large amount of Mosquitoes, so to prevent uncomfortable bites we suggest bringing along some Tabard or Peaceful sleep.
The weather is quite mild, with the winter days usually warm. The winter nights can get very cold, and heavy frosts do fall, especially during July and August. Please do bring loads of warm clothes.
In the summer the days get hot, with the temperature going up to 35ºC. The evenings are lovely and cool. But please remember that this is a high rain fall area, and in a good year we will have a thunderstorm most afternoons. In the summertime a hat and sunscreen are of vital importance.
